(All of them were arrested on December 4, 5, or 6, either in their homes or nearby.)
Andro Chichinadze and the ten other individuals are accused of participating in group violence.
All of them remain in pre-trial detention as a preventive measure. They have been charged
under Article 225, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertains to participation in
group violence. If convicted, they face a potential prison sentence of four to six years.
The eleven defendants reportedly saw each other for the first time during the
court proceedings, and they confirmed that they had no prior communication before their
arrests.
• Andro Chichinadze and Onise Tskhadadze are specifically accused of throwing sticks at police
officers. However, the prosecution has neither presented any video evidence nor identified any
injured police officers as victims.
According to the prosecutor, the case file mentioned 158 injured police officers. However, no
official records of their questioning have been submitted to the case thus far. Moreover, some
of the officers reportedly got injured during the protest on November 28, while the defendants
are accused of crimes committed on November 29.

To date, none of the police officers who have been questioned as witnesses have been able
to identify any of the defendants.
• It is noteworthy that the presiding judge was replaced by another:
Judge Tamar Mchedlishvili reviewed the initial motion for the use of pre-trial detention against
the accused individuals. At the pre-trial stage, the case was subsequently assigned to Judge
Nino Tarashvili. However, the day before the hearing, it was reassigned to Judge Irakli
Shvangiradze, who upheld the decision to keep the defendants in custody. The case is currently
at the stage of substantive review.
